Much More Than Your Regular Bar
Since February 2017 Camerons has been striving to become more than just a bar and has showcased many theatrical performances in the short space of time since opening.
​
Our own in-house theatre evening, The Monthly Monday Monologues which takes place on the first Monday of each month is an open mic night for all styles of spoken word from new written comedy, Shakespearean tragedy and poetical works.
​
Along with this we have had performances from very well known Headline Comedians such as Scott Agnew, Susie McCabe, Garry Little and Des McLean amongst others.
​
Writers and theatre makers Alan Bissett, Ash Price, Derek McLuckie and Ken O'Hara have all trodden the boards in the bar.
​
We are open up to 12.30 am every night (Midnight Sunday) we encourage students and members of bar staff from other venues to come and enjoy the party atmosphere in one of the most welcoming bars in Ayr

Monthly Monday Monologues
First Monday of Month 8.01pm
This is Camerons flagship night.
Actors, writers, comedians and audience join together in an evening of spoken word.
Including new works and many traditional texts. This is the night to release your inner Olivier or try to become the new Billy Connolly.

Quiz Night
Wednesday Nights from 9pm
George Cameron hosts our weekly fun quiz night, all rounds are general knowledge. In keeping with the theatre theme of the bar the music round is always the Magic of the Musicals. This round is made up on the night so will always include enough very popular songs so as not to be too obscure!
DJ Colin Reid
Saturday Nights from 9pm
Join DJ Colin Reid for a night of hits from the decades!
Colin has been a popular figure in many venues in Ayr, Glasgow, Edinburgh and further afield. His style of mixing older hits with up to date chart music will keep the crowd happy and the dance floor filled all evening
